I've never seen a winter storm quite like the one of Feb 2011 in all my years in Abilene. We were snowed and iced in the house for 4 straight days! We had to bring in some reinforcements to help squash the cabin fever the last two days. Although we were ready to get out of the house today, it really was a breath of fresh air to be at home with no distractions or busy schedules and to get to spend lots of quality time with each other! For that reason I'll never forget the Snow Storm of Feb '11, I kind of think it was a blessing in disguise and was God's way of forcing all of us to slow down and remember what matters.
