Grandparents Day 2012

Ava Kate is one blessed little girl especially when it comes to grandparents! She has four grandparents and two great grandparents that love her dearly and are very present and involved in her life and I'm so grateful for that! Every fall St. Johns puts on a Grandparents Day Program and Lunch, the kids get to take their grandparents on a tour of the school and their classrooms and then they put on a precious program full of songs about grandparents and afterwards everyone eats lunch together. Last year Grandparents Day was her first program on the chapel stage and she just stood there and cried part of the time but it is amazing the change that happens in a years time. She smiled and sang and did all the hand motions and really seemed to enjoy performing this year!
