The New Me!

I finally got up the nerve to take the plunge and cut off my hair. It has been something I was wanting to do for almost a year now but I was just so scared to do it and now that I have I am so glad I did. It is so easy to fix and cool in this Texas heat!

Water Babies

One of our favorite past times lately has been swimming. These pics were too funny not to share especially the ones of Keller snorkling in the wading pool while laying on a float as big as the pool. As you can see Ava is very into climbing these days and loves to stand on chairs and anything else she get on top of, I think she is going to be a daredevil like her daddy. I had hoped she wouldn't be afraid of everything like me and I think I got more than I wished for! Her and Keller have the sweetest relationship, they absolutely are crazy about each other, it is precious to see them together. The last photo is of her and Keller's dad, Adam. I had to include this one because it has taken her a while to warm up to him but now she loves him and this photo of them was just too cute.

Sea World

Sea World has always been one of my favorite places to go so I’ve been so anxious to get to take Ava there. Last weekend we did! Justin’s sister and brother in law live in San Antonio and have an apartment down by the river walk so we stayed there and Justin’s parents also came to town. We got there Friday evening and all met on the river walk for dinner at Casa Rio, my favorite place to eat on the river walk. Saturday morning we got up early and got to Sea World right when it opened and I had a map and a schedule and a plan to see everything! Ava loved the dolphins and the waterpark the most. She did great in all the shows! Everything seemed a little more scaled back than in the past but we still had a great time. It was fun to see Ava with family that she doesn’t get to see all the time and to see how she really recognizes them and knows who they are and loves them all so much! She even said Bambaw (Grandpa)! So now she says Bop (Pop, my dad), Dada and Bambaw but she still won’t say any of the women’s names other than saying Mama once on Mother’s Day, what a stinker!
