A Trip to the North Pole

Today's advent activity was a trip to see Santa, maybe not all the way to the North Pole, but more like the Mall of Abilene. We were excited that Nana got to join us in our advent activity today. We were not quite sure what Ava Kate's reaction to Santa Claus would be but she was a pretty brave little girl. She kept looking up at him and his weird with the most curious eyes! After a few minutes though she let us know she'd had enough by sticking out her bottom lip as if she was on the verge of a breakdown. I thought she did really good though for her first visit with Santa.
