The next Jarrett golfer!
Labor Day weekend we made our first trip to Houston since Ava Kate was born to visit Grandma & Grandpa. We enjoyed some shopping, good food and lots of family time. Ava Kate not only got to spend a lot of time with her Grandma and Grandpa she also got to meet more of her family for the first time- Uncle Frank, Aunt Tommi, Aunt Rita, Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky. She got to dance with her Grandpa to some Al Green. We went on a walk every morning with Grandma. She thought their 3 chihuahua's were very amusing. She was a trooper on the long drive there and back and only fussed a little. I sat in the back with her and pulled out all my silly tricks in an attempt to keep her entertained.

What great pictures! Emerson has the same baby doll. We call her shopping baby since she frequently goes shopping with us and keeps Emerson pretty entertained. Car trips are so hard on little ones and I think especially hard on the grown-ups.
